Hooky: Slim electronic shisha and Hooky Steel shishas

Hooky is a French brand created for the pocket-sized electronic shisha, the shisha pen, which today also produces classic steel shishas, including the Hooky Steel and its editions signed by the sculptor Richard Orlinski. El-Badia distributes both families: on one side the Hooky Slim, its cartridges, e-liquids and spare parts, which fall under the French regulations on vaping products; on the other the Hooky Steel shishas, their bowls and heat management system, which run on charcoal. Hooky Steel classic shishas

The Hooky Steel is a stainless steel shisha on a tripod, available in Black and White, supplied with its hose and bowl. The Hooky Steel × Orlinski uses the same base with a base vessel and elements sculpted by Richard Orlinski, in a numbered series; a limited edition is also listed. Both are prepared like any shisha: bowl packed with tobacco or a tobacco-free substitute, charcoal placed on aluminium foil or in the Hooky heat management system, sold separately with the black ceramic Hooky bowl (and its Orlinski version). Glass, metal or plastic mouthpieces in packs of three, charcoal tongs and an LED ring round off the range. All of these are listed in the classic shishas category.

Hooky Slim electronic shisha

The Hooky Slim is a pen-format electronic shisha: a 63 g tube with a 1,300 mAh battery, onto which a cartridge containing the e-liquid and the coil (the "bougie") screws. Activation is automatic on inhaling, with no button, with a top air intake and a spring-loaded battery contact. Claimed battery life of around 1 h 30 per charge, charger supplied. Two finishes: Slim and Slim Black; a Gold 24K Carbon version is listed. The older Hooky Classic and Hooky Royal models are no longer produced; their parts (heads, cases, V1 and V2 coils) remain listed while stocks last.

Cartridges and e-liquids

• Hooky 3 ml cartridges, sold in packs of three, prefilled, with built-in coil. Flavours: Double Pomme, Pastèque, Myrtille, Citrus, Pêche, Menthe. They contain no nicotine, which allows their 3 ml capacity (French regulations limit nicotine cartridges to 2 ml).
• Hooky e-liquids in 10 ml, 30 ml and 250 ml bottles, all nicotine-free. Flavours: Double Pomme, Pastèque, Myrtille, Menthe, Raisin, Pêche, Vanille, Bubble Gum, Citrus, Pomme Cannelle. They are used to fill the Hooky Head tank.
• Spare parts: Hooky Head tank and its coil, cartridge cap, black or white mouthpieces, charger, cases.

Use and care

Hooky Slim: screw a cartridge onto the charged battery, wait around thirty seconds for the coil to heat up (the indicator light shows this), then draw. With the Hooky Head tank, pour in the e-liquid without going above the mark or getting any into the central tube, screw it back on, wait a few minutes before the first inhalation; replace the coil when vapour or flavour decreases. Store the battery half-charged if it is not used for several weeks; at end of life, it goes through the WEEE channel, empty cartridges through household waste sorting. Hooky Steel: rinse the base and stem after each session, brush weekly, replace grommets as soon as they harden. Stainless steel is cleaned with lukewarm water and no abrasive products.

Is the Hooky Slim still made?

Yes, in Slim and Slim Black finishes. The Hooky Classic and Royal have been discontinued; only their spare parts remain available while stocks last.

Do Hooky products contain nicotine?
