Puff 30K ELFBAR NIO30K

The Puff ELFBAR NIO30K is a rechargeable electronic cigarette with prefilled cartridges, from the ELFBAR brand. The kit pairs a 1000 mAh battery rechargeable via USB-C with two 2 ml cartridges, each supplied with a 10 ml extension, for 24 ml of e-liquid in nicotine salts dosed at 20 mg/ml. The manufacturer states up to 30,000 puffs for the full amount of liquid supplied.

2 ml cartridges + 10 ml extensions

Each NIO30K cartridge comes in two parts: a 2 ml cartridge, the maximum capacity allowed in France for a tank of nicotine-containing liquid, which carries the sealed mesh coil; and a 10 ml extension that attaches to it and feeds the cartridge with liquid. Both parts are supplied prefilled and cannot be refilled. The clear PCTG tank shows the liquid level.

The kit contains two such sets, that is 12 ml per cartridge and 24 ml in total. The manufacturer estimates the battery life at 15,000 puffs per cartridge in Base mode, so 30,000 for the kit. This figure does not correspond to a battery charge and drops in Turbo mode or with long inhales. An empty cartridge is removed and replaced with a new NIO30K cartridge.

Battery, display and Base / Turbo modes

The built-in 1000 mAh battery recharges via USB-C port; the cable is not supplied. The LED display shows the battery level and the mode selected. Two power modes are available: Base, at standard power, and Turbo, at higher power, which increases the consumption of liquid and battery.

Draw and nicotine

The NIO30K is designed for a tight draw (MTL, mouth-to-lung): the vapour is first held in the mouth, then inhaled. The air intake, located at the bottom, is not adjustable. The device fires automatically on inhale. The liquid contains nicotine salts at 20 mg/ml (2%), the maximum strength allowed in France; there is no nicotine-free version of this model.

Casing

The square casing with rounded edges is made of polycarbonate. It measures 93 x 53 x 26.5 mm and weighs around 50 g.

The NIO30K is offered in six flavours, all at 20 mg/ml. The two cartridges in a kit are of the same flavour.

How to use

1. Charge the battery via the USB-C port before first use.
2. Assemble the cartridge and its extension, then fit the whole onto the battery.

4. Inhale through the mouthpiece: the device fires on its own.
5. Replace the cartridge once it is empty or the flavour starts to fade.

Storage and recycling

Store the device and the cartridges away from heat, damp and direct light, out of reach of children and animals. The battery contains a lithium cell: at end of life, the device goes to a WEEE collection point or a recycling centre and is not thrown out with household waste. Empty cartridges follow household waste sorting.
