For the 15 g capacity, fluff the tobacco well in the bowl and preferably use 2 natural 26 mm coals in a Kaloud Lotus I+ or Lotus I+3, leaving a slight gap between the tobacco and the bottom of the heat management device. For the 30 g capacity, you can start with 3 coals of 26 mm, then adjust by removing or moving one coal if the heat becomes too strong. Also play with how far you open the Lotus lid to fine‑tune heat management during the session.
